Bring out the best in people by highlighting their strengths.
Tell them what they are good at. Compliment their skills.Let them shine, ask them for advice, or use “Teach me”:
”What an interesting job title. Tell me about it!”
”I’ve never been to the city you live in but would love to travel there.
Do you have any tips for me?”
To be interesting, be interested.
