I used to, too! Now, I use a simple AI-powered system:
1. Ideation: I constantly brainstorm post ideas directly in Notion. I have a dedicated doc for raw thoughts in Notion.
2. Prompt with Rules: I've created prompts with specific rules to ensure engaging, easy-to-understand posts, using the tone of my favorite writers.
Here’s one of the prompts that I use to create personal valuable posts:
Finish writing this post with the style and tone of voice of Jasmin Alic.
Keep each sentence 10-12 words max
Use a readability score above 80.
I'm writing for small company owners who want to build more successful products.
I’ll provide a topic to focus on. After that ask me a few questions so you can help me create an engaging, human, personal LinkedIn post for my target audience.
3. AI Collaboration: Now I use this prompt in Claude 3.5 or Gemini 1.5. This prompt tells the AI to ask some targeted questions about my chosen topic. This step ensures the AI understands my goals and my audience. You’ll be surprised about the questions it asks and the results you get with this prompt.
4. Personalization: Here I review the AI-generated draft, adding my own voice and experiences.
5. Final Polish with AI: The result of this step always blows me away. Whenever I’m ready with my post I always ask Gemini 1.5 for 2-3 tweaks to make the post even stronger and more engaging.

Give me 2-3 small changes to make my LinkedIn post stronger, more personal and more fun.
Don’t use Claude and GPT-4o for this task. Gemini is brilliant here. While Claude and GPT-4o rephrase things, Gemini provides real critical feedback.
